What the extension does

The extension adds slideshow controls to web pages. Its optional local capture feature records visible slide images so the user can download them as a ZIP archive.

Data handled

When local image capture is enabled, the extension handles the current page URL, visible image URLs, image bytes, image dimensions, source metadata, capture timestamps, and capture settings such as the selected action and interval. It does not read page text, form fields, cookies, passwords, or browser history as part of the capture feature.

How data is used and stored

Capture data is used only to provide the user-facing capture and ZIP download feature. It is stored locally in the browser using extension storage and IndexedDB. It is not uploaded to the developer, a telemetry service, an analytics provider, or another third party by this extension.

Local capture records remain until the user uses Reset, removes the extension data, clears browser storage, or uninstalls the extension. The user-initiated ZIP contains the captured image files and session.json, which includes page and source URL metadata. The user controls whether that downloaded archive is shared.

Permissions

• storage: save settings and local capture state.
• scripting: initialize the bundled page-context slideshow bridge when needed.
• debugger: read image resource and network response bytes from the active page during an explicitly enabled capture session.
• downloads: save the ZIP archive after the user requests a download.
• offscreen: build the ZIP archive without opening a visible tab.
• HTTP/HTTPS host access: provide the overlay and capture feature on ordinary web pages.

Sharing and contact

The extension does not share handled data with the developer or third parties. If the user chooses to send a captured image or ZIP to someone else, that sharing is initiated and controlled by the user outside the extension.
